Today's my birthday ... 29 years old on the 29th. I wonder if when I was younger, I thought about when my years would match the date and how/where/what I would be in life at that time. Kind of a jolt to take inventory of my life and evaluate it against its potential. Am I doing all that I could be doing? I feel a tug sometimes to go volunteer through GeekCorps or do more to make an impact in my community, but bound by obligations and guilt and let's face it, laziness.
Anyway, let me also wish my fellow birthday-ian Bob Hope (one of my favorite [and imo, the best] comedians in the world) a wonderful 100th!
