Perl is a double edged sword sometimes. I can get stuff done with it fast enough most of the time that in my day job lately a lot of attention has been focused on what needs to get done. Meetings, approval from three levels of management, red tape. Blech. I just want to write some code :)
Unfortunately, the burnout during the day is following me home, and I'm finding it difficult to shake the blues there and hack on stuff. I read a post from Acme a while back saying that he heard a lot of people talking about what they would do when some new technology was ready, and his response was to just do it, do it now with the tools at hand. Good advice Acme.
