Someone posted a link to Reddit about the perennial "women in IT" discussion. My response was basically pointing out that the stupid flamewars we (men) get into certainly doesn't make our field more attractive. One reply was from someone being offended at my apparently singling out men and replying with a hearty "f**k you" :) (asterisks used for those poor folk who have draconian work filters)
I think the idea that women don't fight and have flamewars is quite sexist and patronizing toward women.
