How to write a presentation

Well, this isn't about how to write a presentation. It's about how not to write a presentation: S5.

It was a piece of cake to get a presentation up and running quickly. I bound a key in VI to create a slide template and whipped through the slides in nothing flat. The devil, however, is in the details. I want my slides to be perfect. Trying to go through and make everything perfectly consistent and wonderful is an incredible pain. I can see an "X" to S5 converter as being useful, but to write it directly in HTML? Never again.

Spork::S5

Right, which is why I talked gugod into writing Spork::S5; coupled with ingy's little hack Spork::Formatter::Kwid, S5 generation is a breeze. :-)

Weird. What do you dislike about the idea? I’ve never felt anything but joy about working with S5.

Not going to say I told you so.
