Taking an online class is more work than I thought. With OSCON about to start, I'm rushing like mad to get ahead on my homework to ensure that I don't start hitting crunch time and making sloppy mistakes. I'm really looking forward to hanging out with old friends, but tons of homework await.
Tonight was particularly nerve-wracking. I finished two labs and started taking the next online quiz. You get 30 minutes and one attempt at each quiz. Woe be to you if your 'net connection goes down. And if you have to restart your box. And if, after bringing everything back up, reconnecting and restarting the quiz you see that none of your previous answers were saved.
I typically take about 10 minutes to finish these quizzes. Tonight I got done with only three minutes to spare. My computer wants beer.
