In case anyone missed it on slashdot, Dick Hardt has stepped down as CEO of ActiveState. In an effort to take the company to being a $100m company, they're going to get someone with more experience in. Interesting times there I bet.
Still, I do wonder if they can really get to that size - they're betting the farm on PerlMX - which is certainly an interesting business space to be in right now (I work for a company in a similar space), but they're not recognised as being in that space - they're known as vendors of development tools.
Still, good luck to them. They deserve it.
