Where I work we do an awful lot of stuff in Perl. In fact the basis of our anti-virus solution - a custom anti-virus engine called Skeptic - is entirely written in Perl (well, with some decoding stuff in C). It's so good that we offer a 100% anti-virus guarantee. Now the UK Government have decided to let us scan their email for viruses. Good news indeed, and definitely a win for Perl.
Now I just have to work on the boss to get him to contribute to the Perl Foundation...
