Childhood words

So my friend Rael wants to bring back the word rad. It reminds me of riding around on a BMX thinking everything was "rad".

What childhood word would you bring back?

I still use "wicked" and "boss" and "rad," so I don't know what you're talking about.

The entire fashion challenged decade, yes :) Somewhere I think I still have my mood rings, pet rock and lava lamp. I even have photographic evidence which I could show you but then I would have to dispose of you somehow :)

And yes, that pic is cute :)

I was always partial to 'dink'

It was my favorite high school insult. But I am not sure if it was in common usage.

douchebag was, as I recall, the most common and popular razz/insult of the mid to late 70s. I'll have to check DARE later.

I worked with a guy in 1996 or so who used douchebag all the time. Guess somethings are timeless. Luckily 70's fashion is not one of them!

Ah, Youth...

The featureless corporate landscape might be a smidge more tolerable if you could occasionally point at someone who's just made a jackass of themselves and say...

Moded!!!!!
