Having a nice day doing some quiet hacking today, while my wife plays with her Sims that I bought her for xmas (she's totally addicted, can't put the game down), I've been hacking on XML::LibXML (some things didn't work, like validating parsing, which should have) and on writing a set of proposals for the O'Reilly conference this coming summer.
I'm looking forward to the conference, though it's set to be another expensive one - at least up front - even if I do a couple of tutorials it won't exactly cover all the costs associated with going. Maybe I should shoot for 3 tutorials :-)
Now I need to go away and update AxPoint, my AxKit slideshow system (it uses PDF as the rendering engine) so that it can do neat things like bullet point transitions and so on.
Oh, and merry christmas everyone, especially the poor bastards in the US who don't get boxing day off. That sucks.
