qpsmtpd++

I just grepped my qpsmtpd logs. I have received over 260M of Swem/Gibe viruses in the last 24 hours. I have no idea if my ISP has a bandwidth cap. But nobody should have to put up with that kind of bandwidth rape. Nearly 8G of bandwidth per month just for one virus???

That's just stupid. I'm thinking of turning on the vbl in blocking mode despite my own dire warnings about it on the web site.

Swen is what finally got me to set up qpsmtpd (which does need a catchier name if it's ever going to make the big time) this week. Of course things like this make me want a "line received" hook to avoid having to get the whole message, but I suppose that wouldn't be very performance-friendly.

No, but we're thinking of adding something along the lines of headers received or perhaps even MIME part received.

And besides, it's not as though qpsmtpd is terribly optimal in the first place - though I think we'd try and make it as optimal as possible.
