CGI::Application Wiki

Just thought I'd make a quick mention of the CGI::Application Wiki. It's slow going right now, but hopefully as awareness picks up, so will the amount of content.

I've recently added some vanity buttons, including a generic perl button (with a "squirrel facing right", thanks Mark! :). Check 'em out.

Very cool with the buttons.

I am hoping the WIKI takes off as "THE" place to go for CGI::APP information

do you see the squirrel, too?

I think it /does/ look like a squirrel. I've done this in graphich design myself: After manipulating image a bunch I still "See" it, because I remember what it used to look like. When I show it someone else... They just don't get.

A classic case of this is posters that end up wit text that's all swirly or otherwise hard to read. By the time graphic designer was done with the poster, they weren't reading the letters anymore, just "seeing" that it was cool are.

I think the Camel might work better at that size if it was posterized or iconified to have less detail.

Yeah, I hear ya. I merely shrunk and cropped a larger camel down. The end result is not very big, so it probably wouldn't take much time to do some pixel-by-pixel work...
