So far, the hardest thing about organizing YAPC::NA::Boca is when people you need to respond to things don't. If you don't know the status of step B, you can't go to step C. And, there are so many emails you can send asking "SO??"
But, I think things are going well. Got a nice amount of proposals (still accepting until March 15!) from Randal, Uri, Damian and other good folks. MJD should be doing lightning talks, Larry said he is coming.. so all is good there.
All the rooms should be set, so that is good. Registration is up, so that is good (not sure how many people have registered, though). And, I have a good group of guys from the South Florida Perl Mongers helping me out (thanks Jeff!)
I'm waiting to hear if we are all set with the dorms, which the catering will follow. I also have a contact at Embassy Suites which may be able to work something out for rates (thanks Prakash!).
It should be a good con. I hope people come :)
