So, Alias threw down the gauntlet to get a working PITA::POE::SupportServer.
A few days hacking and I have committed a reasonably functioning server with tests to SVN.
It uses POE::Component::Server::SimpleHTTP and POE::Component::Server::SimpleContent to provide web server functionality.
Looks like my name shall be toasted in Sydney >:)
