How I remember Vienna.. by the goodies (more parts to come). In other words: the loot!

  • Some T-Shirts: 2 normal YAPC ones, 1 orga (bid at 50 euros), 1 black google t-shirt and 1 black ActiveState logos t-shirt (bid at 15 euros).
  • Pens.. pens.. pens and also, some pens!
  • Notepads (thanks Verisign!)
  • So what are you saying? I have a bad breath? Just because I have some Booking.com mints on me?
  • USB powered fan.. cool!
  • acme-color keyboard brush (also from Booking.com)
  • lanyards.. from Booking.com
  • Did I mention Booking.com sponsored the conference? I got some other goodies.. but all together, there were not as many goodies as last year.

Actually the keyboard brush was from Shopzilla. I passed on the USB fan, and got another USB memory stick :) There was also chocolates from United Chocolates and more mints from A1. All in all a good selection of freebies in my opinion :)

As Barbie said, the keyboard brushed where sponsored by Shopzilla. There were also some caps, but enough for everybody.

The other pack of mints was from http://oe1.orf.at/, i.e. Ö1. Their website runs on Catalyst & DBIx::Class & Template::Toolkit & mod_perl. A1 (as Barbie called them) is a mobile phone operator and not at all releated to Ö1.

The chocolates were "Mozartkugeln", often slightly false translated as "Mozarts balls".

Oops! Just got out the Ö1 mints to check and indeed I got it wrong. Not quite sure why I mistook them for A1. Are the logos similar and perhaps I got confused due to subliminal marketing? Who knows, but they're nice :)
