After a couple of months of planning and a couple of days of building, we were finally ready to have another party in the backyard. Our theme for this year: Maffia! We had suitable background music, had some projections, made tons of food (spaghetti, lasagna, pizza, foccacio, ice cream), people brought zucchini, tiramisu (twice) and pasta salad. The approx. 40 of us drank about 75 liters of beer from the draft set we rented, we had a casino with roulette and poker table (complete with fake money bills and checks) and there was a DJ. We also had a very nice setting: we put some fiberwood floors in, had a couple of party tents, made some stalls and booths.. Some pictures are online at Picasaweb. The party was excellent! IMHO it was the best one we had so far.
