A few days ago, I won 2 tickets to see todays pre-release screening of Man of the year (thanks Q). The movie is a slow-starter but it get's up to speed after 20 minutes or so. Basic rundown of the story (spoiler warning): Robin Williams plays a comedian/anchor man a la John Stewart). During one of his shows, the idea is coined to run for president. In the mean time, the woman who developed the voting software at a major e-voting company discovers a flaw in the program. The end result is that Robin Williams gets elected and there is a whole conspiracy theory. It has quite a few funny moments but it's not academy award material. Still good movie.. Not a no-brainer.
