I'm in the market for an Apple laptop. My budget isn't superhigh but high enough to get a MacBook 2.0ghz with 1GB of memory, the 120GB hard disk and the superdrive. I assume it'll be black but I'm an Apple newbie (ignoring the iPod nano and iPod shuffle 1st gen).

Here here. I was just looking at a 17" MBP Core2 for $2299...$500 with the same warranty + applecare is a damn good deal.

Good choice indeed. See if you can add 1gb of ram though, so it totals 2gb.. macs run a lot smoother with more ram
