I was wearing my O'Reilly baseball cap (the one I got at YAPC::Eu for buying books). Two of my co-workers asked me if it was a Bill O'Reilly baseball cap. I couldn't really place him so I quickly responded it's about a book publisher and not about politics.

A couple of years ago I was in the States, queuing for something, while wearing one of my O'Reilly shirts. The guy in front of me looks at me, and exclaims, "I love this O'Reilly guy". I considered responding "Are you sure? He's a commie you know, promoting free software", but I kept my mouth shot.
