I booked my flight to Birmingham for YAPC::Eu 2006. Initially, the flight fare was 15 euros, one way. So I start looking for a return flight. I eventually find one on the next day at 10.30 AM for 25 euros. I don't really mind the extra night. Next step.. confirm, check the EULA, pricing overview... jaw drop to the floor. I end up paying 118 euro instead of 40 euros.. That means I pay nearly twice as much on taxes alone. Once again, I get screwed by the airlines. At least my flight is ok.
