The escape key on my laptop just broke off. Not sure how I will use vi now?
Update: It seems that if you bang it very hard (pointy stick optional), it snaps back into place.. I had the support guy kill the ticket I logged.

Esc is exactly equivalent to control-[. So you can just press that key combo or you can remap it to some other key that you don't use.
