Today's Valentines day. Although a Hallmark holiday, it's still a good moment to let people know just how much you care. My gf cares enough to surprise me by showing up on my doorstep unexpectedly (like she did yesterday evening). To get to my place, I know she had to take a 2 trains (approx 2 hours) and one bus ride (approx 30 minutes). Imagine how bad I felt when I realized I didn't get her anything.. I hope the big smile on my face said enough. But as a semi surprise, I'm taking her on a city trip to Florence next month.
