For our company's new years dinner, we went to a local Japanese restaurant. It has a few of those giant cooking plates and some chefs to throw all kinds of vegetables, eggs, meat, salt and pepper shakers around. They had kimonos you could wear during dinner.. and you needed it! The chef threw around some egg cubes and half the time he missed. The floor was covered it those things! The green hot stuff (aka Wasabi) is apparently made from mustard, ginger, green peppers, etc. The waitress claimed it was made from some vegetables. We had some salmon, cod, sushi, squid, sorbet, noodles, lamb cubes and nuts and then those flying pieces of egg. Eating with chop sticks isn't easy. A few of us found that out the hard way.
