I saw The Island. It was good. It has plenty of action, some surprise elements and a decent ending... but most of all, it is filled with product placement. The clothes and shoes are obviously sponsored by Puma. The information center is typically sponsored by MSN. The telephones are by Nokia and Cisco. Somewhere in the middle, Calvin Klein also sneaks in (even though it's only because Scarlett Johansson is in one of their ads and it's shown in the movie). Overall acting is good. It has Scarlett and Ewan, Sean Bean Steve Buscemi (excellent!), Michael Clarke Duncan and Ethan Phillips (the Neelix guy from ST:Voyager)
