The local bookstore didn't have Version Control with Subversion but they did have Subversion Version Control: Using the Subversion Version Control System in Development Projects instead. It look good enough. Subversion looks really cool and now I have no excuse whatsoever to not use it.

I installed TortoiseSVN and started using it right away (after setting up the Subversion server side from the docs); it is completely intuitive. I plan on reading the O'Reilly book, but haven't really *had* to yet.

I'll second that. If you're on Windows, the TortoiseSVN Explorer interface is very, very good.

I used the TortoiseCVS client on Windows before.. Can't wait to get started at work on monday :)
