It seems that lots management software for network devices is webbased these days. It also seems that most of that software is written in some kind of Java web flavor. There is probably truckloads of money to be made by rewriting that stuff in something less uhm uhm *thinking of a nice word for fucking slow* uhm uhm resource demanding.
