Last night I started reading the Da Vinci code book. I went to sleep around 4.30 AM. Today, instead of getting fully dressed, after breakfast, I spent the entire morning reading the book. For those who've read it, I'm currently at the point where they're in a plane.
Note to myself: Look up Sidetracked written by Henning Mankell.
I havn't read the Da Vinci Code, but I read the next one (spur reviewed not too long ago) and it just sucks.
Mankell doesn't pretend to write anything but good crimis, and good they are. It's a long series, where the main characters evolve (and act like humans). You should also look at Sjöwall and Wahlöö's 10 volumne series of good detection novels while you are in the swedish part of the bookshelf.
