One of the shows I try to catch once in a while is Faking it. Todays episode (well, over here anyway), was that of some geeky texan girl that became an Atlanta cheerleader for a day (uhm well 3 weeks). It was quite entertaining and the geek uhm cheerleader looked nice too.
Next on Faking it: a perl zealot turns into a PHP junkie.. Will he fool the judges?

You be my judge - EMA Field Day Directory uses PHP+MySQL for the pages because the guy hosting it is a PHP fanatic, but off-line Perl for the graphics since the guy doing the work (me) is a Perl fanatic.
The FD2005 version of the page may include some live Perl, maybe even Maypole
PHP is just a strange variant Perl. The Lat-Lon to Grid conversion in the Perl is transliterated from a PHP transliteratition of some previous Perl algorithm.
