Today's mission at work: get a linux rescue disk customized so a customer can play tetris while we fix the problem on his machine. After a few bad burns I finally got it working. Long lunch: excellent. Next: Pick up some things at a shop. During the drive over there, my gearbox blew up. I spent about 45 minutes waiting for the tow truck. I textmessaged A(3) and she was supersweet! I talked to A(1), she started school again and is doing fine. I agreed to meet A(2) for a weekly scheduled badminton session (which started this week). We went for drinks afterwards in a cuban-themed pub. It was so so. On the walk home, I bumped into an old school-friend. He's working as a techie in a large bank and makes about twice as much (weither or not I make a lot of money, he's making MORE). Now, where did I leave that Pedro DVD?
At first, I don't think I was really paying attention to it (I was in the middle of Stranger in a Strange Land and was quite into it), but it starts touching your heart after a couple of minutes...
