While fscking around with RAID partitions (yes, fscking.. as in to fsck a disk), I experienced the lack of good RAID documentation (the most recent version of the booting-from-a-RAID-partition HOWTO is about 4 years old). It must be me but booting from a RAID partition seems to be a pain.
