Well, here I am.. stuck. At the moment, I'm researching ways to detect weither the IBM 4400 Thermal printer sitting next to my desk is out of paper. It seems I cannot detect it within the printer queue itself and will have to use a pseudo-programming language to address the printer directly. There is hardly any information on this issue, no code examples, no specifics on how to initiate data streams of this type, etc.
I'm also considering adding an easter egg to the program.. but I still haven't figured out what.
