While on a caffeine trip yesterday, I decided to install XD2 (Ximian Desktop 2). After a few bumps, it seems to work pretty fine. I'm sure it wont be as stable as the out-of-the-box RH9 but it's pretty sweet. I already tried Evolution 1.4 a few months ago but it now integrates quite well with the entire desktop. The fonts are très cool and there are some nice themes and wallpapers too.
What do you do when you're sitting on a train for an hour going to a party? Exactly! Bring a book! In my case, Stupid White Man. I finished that Tom Sharpe book a few days ago so I figured this would be a good change. Anyway, I'm already halfway through it and I really really like it (although Michael Moore DOES claim that he can drive through belgium in half an hour by car).
