It was movie night tonight. First there was Independence Day (which I already saw 8 times before). The story is quite thin, the effects are ok but the 'uploading virus' sequence still makes me grin. Second on the list... The Shining. It was the first time I saw it, although I deliberatly missed chances to see it in the past. Jack Nicholson is typecast! It's typical Kubrick style and I'm glad I saw it. Ofcourse watching the Simpsons did give away part of the story. My brother read the book recently and he claims there is no 'All work and no play make Jack dull boy' in there. Let me get out my magic marker now.
