Around noon, we got a phone call from our hardware dealer, telling us the power supply for the serial box had arrived. Happy Happy Joy Joy. We picked it up, replaced the old one with the new one, edited the server config (and fixed some minor printer problem) and headed to the nearest snack bar...
I spent most of the afternoon reading through documentation of a now defunct IT company (once affiliated with a large linux consulting company... if I give any more hints you WILL guess). They apparently have a large pr0n collection.
I had a short but great talk with Ann today (she's not easy to get hold off these days). We talked a bit about her new boyfriend, relationships in general and women in particular.
After preparing some pasta (kiss the cook!!), I met up with some old friends from high school and we exchanged work experience. One apparently is supervisor in a telephony department of a local IT company... The other one is doing Java (EJB) development. After 6 beers (yes, Belgian beer... yes, stronger than the average ale) I still feel quite sane. I need sleep..
