Hopping on the bus and driving from Rome to Sorrento (near Napels) took about 4 hours. We stopped in Napels for lunch. Sorrento is a rather crowded town (actually consisting out of 3 villages: Piano, Meta and Sant' Agnello). We stayed in a 3 star Hotel without a pool but located 50 meters from the sea *COUGH*. In the afternoon we took the elevator to the beach (with pebbles) and after a siesta we visited the town in the evening.
