Thursday, the sixth day, we visited a few churches (San Giovanni in Laterano - home of the Holy Stairs, San Paolo Fuori die Muro and Santa Maria Maggiore). In the afternoon we were free from group activities so we decided to visit the Forum Romanum after all, the Colisseum (including the Nike exhibit [Nike for the greek goddess of Victory]) and the Thermae of Caracalla, all before supper. This concluded our visit to Rome.
