Well, my english exam is done.. 1 down, 4 to go. Topic for today: relationships. I wrote a paper on relationships in comics and for some reason the professor started a whole discussion on men and women and why women are different and vice versa. Now, why are women without men like fish without a bicycle?? I wouldn't know.. to be honest.
I think the saying came out of the feminist movement and the implication is that a woman needs a man exactly as much as a fish needs a bicycle - this is to say not at all.
Here's a random reference.

During my exam my reply was : 'well, I never saw a fish with a bicycle'.. ofcourse, I didn't use google on that. I'll avoid the obvious remarks to get the feminists on my tail again but I believe men need women and vice versa.
Of course, this can still be taken as a statement of woman's independence.A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bigger fish to cook for and satisfy sexually.
