Through a dreadfully mundane bit of technology I have now googlized yet another part of my life. Namely, Christmas shopping. I no longer ask people what they want (always awkward), or spend hours wandering through stores trying to find something they'll like (okay, I never did, I hate shopping and tend to go for the "snatch, buy, run" method). Now I type their name in a text box, hit "Submit", scan a list of results, and click "Buy" on one of them. Done. The present arrives at their door already gift wrapped. I don't even have to remember their current address.
Life is full of simple pleasures. :)

Good point. So far I've only had to verify the city/state, which is usually displayed to the gift buyer. I guess my family and friends move alot more than most people.
