After a brief discussion with management this morning, we've agreed to extend my current contract until "I step onto the plane" if I go ahead with it.
Thus removing the primary financial limitation from my plan.
Now I just need to get a schedule and speaking plan done before the Feb 4th deadline for OSCON submissions.
