I finally got the email to journal system working on my mail server. All
it took was a copy of Mail::Audit (which I use for filtering my mail,) and
the automating form submission code from the Perl Cookbook (20.2) modified
to use cookies (to log into use perl using the cookie I extracted from
Mozilla.)
I'll get round to posting my code sooner or later, once I've gone though
and checked it's all working. Unfortunately (for all the XP programmers
out there) this is one of the examples that are really hard to write tests
for - at least without breaking my mail filter and/or my journal page on
use.perl.org.
Oh, and as a added bonus, I also found out (after thinking I'd deleted my
mail at least once) that the IS team here aren't currently backing up my
mail server. Ooops.
