ENOOSCON

So, my proposal for OSCON got turned down.

I could probably just about swing it anyway, but I don't think I'm going to - I'd rather take the money and go the many YAS sponsored conferences all over the place.

So, Nordic Perl Workshop, YAPC::NA, German Perl Workshop, Italian Perl Workshop, YAPC::Europe and the London Perl Workshop (having already turned down the Perl Whirl because it's too expensive even with speaking.) Which ones shall I attend?

Austrian perl workshop, French perl workshop.

You've just missed the Dutch workshop, the Israeli workshop has been and gone, but YAPC::Taipei is still to come, but might be a bit far.

Nordic Perl workshop is all in English, so this might be more useful than some of the others. They also don't take Euros there, so you can feel at home :-) [Although their coins don't have seven sides, they make up for this by having curious holes in the centres]

Then again, Paris is the easiest to get to...

Paris? "Venez nous retrouver pour deux jours de conférences, pour tous les amateurs de Perl de 7 à 77 ans." Damnit, I'm a professional Perl Progammer ;-)

And YAPC::Tapei is happening the same time as copenhagen, so I don't think I'll be considering that.

Perl Whirl charges speakers?

You don't get on for free? Damn, I'd been hoping that someday I'd get to go on a free cruise. Sigh ...

My two OSCON proposals got turned down. It's a shame as I really enjoyed the last OSCON. Looks like I'll be heading off to all the YAPCs too ;-)
