The Perl Journal Strikes Deal With EarthWeb

EarthWeb has taken control of The Perl Journal online, providing a new interface and subscriber-only access to articles online.

The site right now includes links to each story of the current issue, and links to other EarthWeb Perl resources, such as developer.com and an EarthWeb Perl discussion board. Other links formerly on TPJ -- such as information about back issues, the jobs board, contributor information, and sample code -- currently, apparently, are not available.

TPJ Editor Jon Orwant said that current subscribers will be given access to the articles on the site, which are protected with username and password authentication.

A press release more fully describing the nature of the relationship between TPJ and EarthWeb is expected to be released.
