Some guy named Pudge has released the perl5.005_02 manpages in Newton Book format. The books in the newest perlpkg archive only work on the larger MP2K screens, with NewtonOS 2.0 or better. All 49 docs are included (excluding only perltoc), and three MacPerl manpages (macperl, macperlbook, macperlcat) are thrown in for good measure. With this update, searching across large books, or all books, is much more stable.
So if you have the hardware, you can have the most portable Perl documentation around (short of a Pilot with a cell modem and a telnet connection to a Unix box).
