"brian's Guide to Solving Any Perl Problem" in German

It looks like my Guide to Solving Any Perl Problem is being incrementally translated into german through a wiki. If you have the skills, maybe you can help them finish it.

Link texts on your homepage are wrong

daxim on 2008-07-02T22:15:41

s/繁體中文/简体中文/

s/по-русски/по-русский/

s/deutsche/Deutsch/

See http://use.perl.org/comments.pl?sid=37954&cid=59640.

Did not find where you've chanded s/по-русски/по-русский/, but that suggestion is obviously wrong :-) You never may say "по-русский": there is simply no way in the language to create this construction.

s/по-русски/по-русский/

That change is incorrect, to the best of my knowledge.

The adjective ("Russian") is русский, but the adverb ("in Russian") is по-русски.

Talking to the Bear

I love the tip about talking to the bear (paraphrasing: saying your problem out loud often helps, even if you talk to a stuffed animal). I bounce quite a few problems and ideas off of my daughter's plush toys. One of them is really smart at Perl, and I swear he's making me smarter too.
