This three-day event will be held at Hosteling International Chicago, which is located in downtown Chicago at the corner of Congress and Wabash. The hackathon runs from December 14th through December 16th. If you want to stay in the hostel, a three-night package is only $120 US... less than a single night in most downtown hotels.
At the moment there is no topic for the hackathon, it is an open hack session. However, there will be representatives from quite a few Perl projects present if you are short on ideas. One of the larger projects represented will be the Catalyst framework.
