jwang writes "I just set up Planet Catalyst at http://planet.catalystframework.org to aggregate blogs about the Catalyst framework. It is also linked from the main Catalyst homepage so you can reach it from there. The planet is focused on articles related to Catalyst and friends which means it filters articles on catalyst, dbic, dbix(::)?class, html(::)?widget or handel (case insensitive). Let me know if there are any other topics of interest that should be included.
Planet Catalyst is powered by Plagger, a Perl-based RSS/Atom feed aggregator. Thanks to miyagawa for writing Plagger and answering my questions on the #plagger FreeNode IRC channel.
If you have questions or would like a blog added, send email to the catalyst-dev mailing list, comment on this article or ask on #catalyst / #catalyst-dev perl.org IRC channels."
I've been toying with Catalyst for some time and began to use it for a bigger project. I'll write about my insights on my blog, so please add that link to the Planet.
Best regards,
Jochen

I've been thinking about using Plagger::Plugin::Filter::Babelfish to do automatic translation of non-English blogs since there are a few non-English blogs about Catalyst (japanese, portuguese and your german article).
One issue about your blog is that the feed incorrectly lists the language as English when the article is in German:
<dc:language>en</dc:language>
Is there anyway you can get that fixed?
That's a feed-level attribute but your blog has both English and German articles. Maybe there could be a language query parameter for the feed:
rss.php?serendipity%5Btag%5D=catalyst;lang=de
The RSS spec doesn't seem to allow language on a per-item basis.Re:Please add my blog

The first article is yet from the time I blogged in German. Coming Catalyst articles will be in English, though, so there should be no problem.
I could even translate the first entry if you insist on consistency.Re:Please add my blog

I just added your blog to the planet and it's visible now. I just think it would be nicer if it was consistent but no need to translate the first entry, at least not for me.
There's active Plagger development going on for automatic translation so hopefully that will be an option for feeds that even mix languages on a per-entry basis (using Filter::GuessLanguage).
