For a few months, you've been unable to block specific sections or topics on this site, so if you had "collapse sections" selected in your preferences, you would get all the module updates, even if you had them excluded.
Well, this is now working again. Go to your homepage preferences if you are logged in, and follow the instructions. What I do is select "All" for all the sections except "Module Listings", where I select "Best," which means only the stories we give special priority. (Note: these settings also affect your personalized RSS feed.)

I noticed I can't order my slashboxes any longer. Is that related to this change?
It's not a big deal, I'm just wondering if that was intentional.
