What's at OSCON? The latest and greatest from Perl 5, Perl 6, Apache, MySQL, and all that good stuff. On the fun side of things: Larry's State of the Onion, the Quiz Show, Peter Jackson's special effects company doing LOTR work, RMS, Open Source in Government, humongous book-signing event, new books, hotel pool, San Diego in summer, and more. See my reworked version of the conference schedule for more details.
If you're self-employed or your employer's baulking at the cost, you can stay at a cheaper hotel that we'll run shuttles to again this year. You can book them yourself, or use the ORA travel agent (she's mentioned on the Hotel and Travel page) to get a good deal. Or use the room sharing list, also linked to from the Hotel and Travel page.

"Candy bars" must be a hooker term I haven't heard yet. I don't think I want to know what it means:-) --Nat

Eh? Get your mind out of the gutter! Didn't you ever sell candy bars as a kid for whatever reason (field trip, bowling tournament, etc)?Of course, I am single again and I know of at least one single female VP. Hmmm....
