Lori Pike writes "ActiveState has released a new enterprise version of PerlMx 2.0, our email security and filtering software for sendmail. PerlMx operates at the gateway and is over 98 percent effective in identifying spam. It now has virus, spam, and corporate communications compliance filters, all written in Perl, that work out of the box and are easily extensible. PerlMx supports most corporate Unix platforms and is priced per CPU, allowing for unlimited user access without additional expense."
...it works with Sendmail only
I would kill for this exact package with/for Postfix (bla bla, libmilter comments here).

I would kill for this exact package with/for PostfixNetThink have released version 2.1 of Mail::Audit, our Perl-based mail filtering and delivery agent, suitable for use with any MTA. Combined with Spamassassin as documented in this article, it offers an extensible, enterprise strength email solution at exceptional value for money.

PerlMx actually works with ANY MTA. PerlMx takes a 'blackbox' approach and can be easily dropped into any MTA environment and used in relay fashion.
So indeed we can work with Postfix, it just can't reside on the same box. We have users with Postfix and even Exchange taking advantage of this flexibility.
If you have any further questions - let me know. I am happy to see your enthusiasm for PerlMx!

MailScanner supports postfix with some recent patches posted on the mailing list. But for those with sendmail or exim, it makes a well-tested well-supported anti-spam anti-virus server e-mail filtering solution. (And it's written in perl and integrates with SpamAssassin.)Re:Cool, but...
