yumpy writes "The first event in Seattle's Dam-i-a-Thon 2002, running from April to July, will be exploring Damian Conway's contributions to the Perl language.
In addition to being featured in physical absentia (but electronic 'presentia') during our April-June SPUG meetings, 'The Damian' will be presenting a 4-day 'Advanced Perl Workshop' in Seattle during July. This will be kicked off by a mini Geek-Krooz (with apologies to Capt. Neil B.) featuring a Mooning and Wind-passing competition before the lakeview property of a certain Mr. $Bill Grates, the 'Richest Creature in the Known Universe' (yea, but anyone who has to program in VB is just another Poor Slob in my book).
More details of this event will be posted as our Damian-iacal plans further unfold."
