The San Francisco PM took up a collection for The Perl Foundation at our January meeting. Our guest speaker Randal Schwartz announced that Stonehenge would match whatever we raised that night. We raised a grand total of $1425.00; with Stonehenge matching that amount, The Perl Foundation will receive $2850.00 from one PM meeting:-)
I would like to encourage all PM groups to do the same. It doesn't matter how large your groups contribution will be, every dollar counts and gets The Perl Foundation closer to their goal.
